Minibus Hire

Here at the Centre we own a 17-seater minibus (including driver seat) which is available for hire. Non-profit organisations or groups are welcome to hire the minibus if available and on the following conditions:

  • If I am hiring on behalf of a non-profit organisation or group, I am authorised to do so

  • The driver(s) is over the age of 25 and under the age of 70 and held a full licence for at least 2 years

  • All motoring convictions or claims within the last 5 years are declared (in the case where this is evident, SBC will need to inform the insurance company to seek permission for use)

  • The vehicle will be returned in the same condition inside and out – a vehicle check will be undertaken on collection and return

  • Any damage to the vehicle whilst on hire, will be corrected and the hiring organisation/group will pay any insurance excess for any necessary repair

  • The minibus will be returned to The Sylvia Beaufoy Centre at the agreed hire end time

  • The hire rate is charged at an initial booking fee of £20 and then £1.50 per mile

Please note that the minibus is not available for hire to individuals for personal events such as transport to private parties, hen or stag parties.
